my dog has sarcoptic mange mites,
how much is the first visit were he gets a skin scraping!

just call around your local vets and get prices, and take your dog ASAP! those things spread fast and will kill your dog.
I couldn’t afford it when my dog had it and i lost him.
Until you can get him to a vet, try to calm him as much as you can b/c only you can imagine what those vermins are doing to him. Set with him, talk to him, if he will eat, get his belly full so he will sleep.

Where i work the vet visit and scrapes would cost around $80.00. There are a few different medications which can be used to kill the mites but it can depend on how bad it is. there are topical applications, washes, injections all different medication depending on how bad it is.

ok this is probably the weirdest answer you will ever get but it has been proven in the United Kingdom and the USA. Use cooking oil everywhere, In the ears deep into the coat and skin and leave the dog to drip in it and let it dry naturally. It stops the biting insects breathe. It will kill fleas, ticks, mites, and cure skin problems by any biting mite and will give the dog peace from constant scratching and chewing on his own body.And if you have Fleas in your home or ear mites that can transfer to and from cats do the same with the cats much cheaper than any vet and works exteremely fast and you dog will improve and may not die.
